The Mitsubishi L300 started the year on a high note when it topped the brand’s sales figures in January with 764 units sold. One factor we can point out as to why the long-running Mitsubishi commercial vehicle (CV) is a constant top-seller is the need for mobility amid the new normal of doing business.
And as for the third month of the year, the Mitsubishi L300 continues to deliver a strong sales performance, selling 1,060 units. This translates to an 11-percent increase as compared to the previous month. The reliable and rugged L300 proves to be the preferred partner by entrepreneurs.
The Mitsubishi L300
Powering the Mitsubishi L300 is a 2.2-liter Euro 4-compliant diesel engine capable of generating 97 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The power from the engine is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The front suspension utilizes independent wishbone and coil spring, while semi-elliptic leaf springs are found on the rear.
“We are truly happy that the L300 is performing well during these trying times. We believe that the sales performance of its sales is a reflection of how well the economy is recovering given that the primary use of the vehicle is for business,” said Mr. Mutsuhiro Oshikiro, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC).
This workhorse can accommodate up to 14 passengers
As for the pricing, the Mitsubishi L300 starts at Php 804,000 for the base Cab and Chassis variant. Buyers can configure the CV depending on their preferences and mobility needs. A seating option of up to 14 passengers is also made available for transporting more people comfortably.
