The era of all-electric roadsters seems to be on the horizon as MG already has brought the Cyberster into the metal. But not a lot of details about the Cyberster have been made known as the British-bred automaker plans to formally launch the model next year.
Check out the MG Cyberster in this walkaround video
Fortunately, we got to see the MG Cyberster closer in a walkaround video posted by Electrifying on its official YouTube channel. The vehicle exudes a familiar two-door top-down sports car appeal, with an exterior styling appearing to be as aerodynamic as possible.
To make the Cyberster more interesting, the automaker incorporated scissor doors, which are electronically operated. It welcomes you to the interior that the brand doesn’t want us to see yet. But it is speculated to come with a sci-fi-like layout including a multi-screen setup and a drive-by-wire system.

Considering it is an electric vehicle (EV), aerodynamics and weight should play a huge factor in determining its range. However, MG has not yet fully disclosed the model’s details.
But in the walkaround video, the presenter told us some of the performance figures. The entry-level Cyberster model will reportedly be powered by a 309-horsepower single motor. Meanwhile, the flagship model is expected to get two motors and a four-wheel-drive system, producing 536 horsepower.
It comes with a 2-seater sports car look we got used to seeing
MG is expected to commence the Cyberster's sales in the UK in Q3 2024. It is still unclear whether MG Philippines has plans to bring the electrified roadster into its lineup. The closest we got to seeing the model was when it was unveiled at the 2023 Auto Shanghai last month.
Upon the arrival of the MG Cyberster, the upcoming model will join the growing list of electric vehicles globally. Soon, all-electric roadsters will be made available in the growing EV market including the Tesla Roadster and the Porsche 718 EV.
