MG ZS crossover gets up to P50,000 price increase

The MG 5 sedan’s pricing also went up.

MG Philippines has joined the number of car brands that have increased their prices for 2023. Among the MG models that saw a price bump includes the MG ZS crossover and some variants of the MG 5.

MG PH has increased the prices of all ZS trims

The Style MT, Style AT, and Style Plus AT trims all saw a price bump of Php 30,000. The ZS Alpha meanwhile, is now Php 50,000 more expensive. The ZS T Trophy saw a Php 40,000 price increase as well.  

For the MG 5, its entry-level Core variant saw a Php 40,000 price increase. The MG 5 Style meanwhile, gets a Php 30,000 price bump. Spared from the said price update was the top-spec Alpha.  

Likewise retaining their prices from the previous month are the MG HS, RX 5, and MG 6. The MG GT, which saw its Philippine debut this year, didn’t see a price increase.

If you’re considering getting the MG ZS as your next ride, then be informed that it uses a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine that’s capable of making up to 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, it is then paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox or 4-speed automatic gearbox. 

The top-spec ZS T Trophy stands as the model’s flagship variant, and it uses a 1.3-liter turbocharged mill that can produce up to 160 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. It then uses a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Moving over to the MG 5, all of its trims use a 1.5-liter engine that can output up to 112 horsepower and 150 Nm. Available transmissions for the MG 5 include a five-speed manual transmission, or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The MG ZS 2023 is a 5-seater subcompact crossover that is available in the Philippines in four variants. MG ZS 2023 Philippines price is from Php 848,888 to Php 1,198,888. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-4 gasoline engine capable of making 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque.
