In 2019, Toyota’s Gazoo Racing Development division, together with engineers from BMW, unveiled the fifth generation J29 Toyota Supra. It’s the spiritual successor to the now legendary A80, or more famously known as the “Mark IV” Supra and understandably people were stoked.
Another Toyota collab, this time with McDonald’s
This time, Toyota Gazoo Racing is set to work together with the world-famous fast-food chain, McDonald’s, as well as Takara Tomy, the owner of the famous Tomica line of diecast car toys.

We want it
Also, the sales period for each toy will be different for each McDonald’s branch in Kyushu and Yamaguchi.

Takara Tomy’s history of Collaborations
Tomica, as well as its controlling company, Takara Tomy, has a notable history of collaborating with popular brands and thus distributing ultra-rare collectors’ items.
One such example is the collaboration between Tomica and Caltex in 2019 where they gave a limited edition Caltex tanker and station set with a minimum $60 spending.
This must be a very rare item now
In 2014, Takara Tomy collaborated with Apita and Piago, and they managed to produce the “flag series,” which of course included a Toyota 2000GT diecast model, clad in the Philippine flag.
Do you think McDonald’s and Toyota Motor Philippines should bring this Happy Meal promo here? We know we do.
