Three more dealerships will be added to the current nine.

Maxus Philippines is embarking on a plan to grow its network of dealerships across the country to 12 branches by the third quarter of 2022.

Emboldened by its success in 2021, Maxus Philippines plans to open at least three more dealerships in 2022

The carmaker currently operates a total of nine branches across the country. Five of these are in Metro Manila, located in Taguig-South, Mandaluyong, Quezon Avenue, Makati, and Alabang which is the latest outlet opened this year so far.

In the Visayas region, Maxus dealerships can be found in Cebu, Iloilo, and Bacolod. The lone Mindanao outlet is located in Cagayan de Oro.
For 2022, the automaker intends to add three more dealership locations to the list. These are Bonifacio Global City (BGC) for Metro Manila and Bacoor in Luzon. Down south, a Maxus Davao branch in Mindanao is in the works.

For the Philippine market, the present Maxus range offers a selection of models. These include multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) such as the G10 and G50, the former also coming in an Assist variant for elderly passengers as well as persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The automaker recently opened its ninth Philippine branch in Alabang

Light commercial vehicles (LCVs) like the V80 and the T60 midsize pickup are also included in the lineup. At the more premium end of the spectrum, the company also markets the D60 compact crossover as well as the D90 midsize SUV.

Maxus is one of five automotive nameplates under the distributorship of Ayala subsidiary AC Motors, which includes Honda, Isuzu, Kia, and Volkswagen. These are joined by motorcycle brand KTM. Together, these mobility partners contributed to AC Motors’ 40 percent growth in 2021, attributed to the success of their respective digital channels.

As part of its long-term plan, AC Motors is also aiming to become a key player in sustainable mobility. It is currently studying the option of bringing electric vehicles to the Philippine market, in its commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
