A day after the launching, a businessman from Cebu named Jaime A. Pogoy Sr. already holds the keys of the new Maxus G50. He said that he wasted no time and immediately arranged for a test drive as he instantly fell in love with the MPV. Jaime A. Pogoy Sr. took home the Polar Ash G50 1.5L Turbo DCT Premium, the G50’s top-spec variant.

Furthermore, another businessman from Cebu also drove home a new Warm White G50 1.5L DCT Premium from the same dealership. He said that the 8-seating configuration and the turbocharged engine of the G50 can address his family’s needs, as well as his business needs.
The Maxus G50 is an MPV designed to provide optimum space for the family. Inside, the G50 is equipped with a 12.3-inch floating-type multimedia screen, leather seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
The Maxus G50 uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that makes 167 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

As for pricing, the base Pro variant is priced at Php 1,088,000, while the mid-spec Elite variant comes with a price tag of Php 1,168,000. Lastly, the tops-spec Premium variant can be taken home for Php 1,288,000.
In consideration of its affordable pricing and efficient spacing, one can expect the Maxus G50 to make its way to the top of the local MPV segment. The Maxus G50 currently rivals against the likes of the Mitsubishi Xpander, Suzuki Ertiga, and Honda Mobilio, as well as the Toyota Innova.
