The 10,000th customer received cash and incentives from Isuzu PH.

The Traviz light-duty commercial vehicle led Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s (IPC) sales for 2021, an indication of the market’s preference towards reliable and capable business workhorses. That reputation is about to be reinforced, as the Traviz now chalks up 10,000 units sold in the country.

According to IPC, the lightweight truck managed to grab 32 percent of the cab & chassis market as of May 2022. Its latest customer and recipient of the 10,000th Traviz unit is Microserver-8 Enterprises located in Davao City, specializing in distributing office equipment and computer accessories.

IPC recently held a ceremony at Isuzu Manila to celebrate the milestone, handing over Php 10,000 in cash and an additional Php 10,000 worth of parts & services to Microserver-8, represented by its purchasing head, Sherrie Mae Pag-Ong. Several key IPC officers were in attendance, including new IPC President Noburo Murakami, Asst. Sales Division Head Hiroto Nakaguro, and Isuzu Manila Branch Head Art Silvestre.

“We are happy to be recognized as the 100,000th customer for the Isuzu Traviz,” said Pag-Ong. “We have been using this truck since 2021 and have been receiving very good feedback from our drivers nationwide.”

IPC is offering promotions for current and potential Traviz customers

IPC’s Murakami hailed the Traviz as a solution to rising fuel prices, able to travel over 1,000 kilometers on a single fuel tank. “It can also carry more cargo with its 1,660-kg. payload capacity that would lessen your trips in operation,” he said.

The automaker also announced its series of promotions for both current and potential Traviz customers. It will be raffling off 10,000 liters of fuel to 500 customers nationwide who will purchase or reserve a Traviz unit until August 31, 2022. An additional Php 10,000 cash referral bonus will be offered, on top of the current Php 10,000 referral fee.
