For a short recap, the BiyaHenyo Caravan is a nationwide dealer-based roadshow series that was launched earlier this year, aiming to showcase the company’s modern PUV offerings.
The recent roadshow event in Region 5 was attended by 30 local transport cooperative groups, comprising 150 members. It was held at PROXY by The Oriental Albay Hotel where members signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to acquire 450 units of the car brand’s Modern PUV.
Up to 30 transport cooperatives attended the event
“Everyone came to a halt during the pandemic but we must move on and find ways how to drive the PUV Modernization Program. We invited our future partners and I am very glad that Hyundai is one among them who is very active in this endeavor,” said LTFRB Region 5 Director PNP Major General Antonio N. Gardiola, Jr.
Hyundai HD50S Modern PUV Class 3 and 2 were put on display during the event. Guests were also treated to a test ride and comprehensive product presentation of the Class 2 Modern PUV.

Safety and convenience are the features that Hyundai Modern PUVs can offer to Filipino commuters. These units come with an airconditioned cabin, Wi-Fi module, speed limit warning buzzer, and onboard CCTV system. An Automated Fare Collection System is also installed, providing a contactless payment method that makes it easier for passengers to pay their fares.
“What matters most to us is the fact that the Hyundai Modern PUV is helping boost the economy of the Bicol region, and of every Philippine province, city, and municipality that it finds itself. It is a vehicle for connecting communities, moving people, and products for major industries, showcasing the beauty of the regions,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo.
