The BiyaHenyo Caravan is a nationwide dealer-based roadshow series that will showcase the Hyundai HD48 GT Modern PUV. It will help expand the brand’s vision to modernize public vehicles alongside the first models in its modern PUV lineup that consists of the Hyundai HD50S Class 3, Class 2, and Class 1.
“There is a smartrepreneur in every Filipino and we want to bring out the best of it,” said HARI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo when talking about the BiyaHenyo Caravan.
Safety and convenience
Built on a solid chassis platform, the Hyundai HD48 GT completes Hyundai’s powerhouse lineup of mass transport models. HCPI said that these models are known for ‘comfort, efficiency, reliability, and safety.’ The HD48 GT has already been certified to meet the demands of the transport industry.
Inside the HD48 GT, passengers can benefit from features such as a 22+1 seating capacity (plus 8 to 10 standing), an air-conditioned cabin, CCVT, GPS tracker, Wi-Fi module, and speed limit warning buzzer. It is also installed with an Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) for easier payment methods, as well as promote contactless transactions.

Powering the modern PUV is a 2.9-liter Euro 4-rated turbodiesel engine capable of generating 158 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. Drivers will have to operate the vehicle around the city in a 5-speed manual transmission.
HCPI assured that health guidelines and protocols are observed in its dealerships including during the BiyaHenyo Caravan roadshow.
“The BiyaHenyo Caravan is our way of helping our transport smartrepreneur position themselves for greater productivity and profitability to benefit, not only their business, but society as a whole because our progress depends on mobility,” added Perez-Agudo.
