Start your year with a new Hyundai.

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the country, has extended its MerrygaLOW promo until January 15, 2021. The promo extension is the way for HARI to thank its valued customers throughout the year and to provide mobility at the start of the year.

With the extended MerrygaLOW promo, customers can avail of the Accent and Reina with cash discounts of up to Php 160,000 and Php 110,000, respectively. Both the Accent and Reina are good choices for first-time car buyers thanks to their practicality and efficiency.

The Accent is Hyundai’s entry to the country’s high-selling subcompact sedan segment alongside its sibling, the Hyundai Reina. Despite competing in the same segment, the Accent is slightly larger than the Reina. However, the Reina got the upper hand in terms of ground clearance as it is 10 mm higher than the Hyundai Accent.

Both the Accent and Reina are powered by a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated engine capable of making 132 Nm of torque. The Accent can make 100 hp, while the Reina can make 94 hp. HARI is also offering the Accent with a 1.6-liter CRDi diesel engine capable of making 128 hp and 260 Nm of torque. The Accent diesel is only available in the model’s top-spec GL variants.

The 2020 Hyundai Reina

“For decades, we Filipinos have practiced unique customs to greet the new year with an expectant heart filled with optimism and hope. These traditions are passed from one generation to the next and we are proud to say that Hyundai has become part of the Filipino’s many journeys and traditions. This is our way of saying thank you as we start the new year fresh,” said Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, HARI president and CEO.
