Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPI) has been busy expanding the brand’s revitalized passenger car lineup network since last year. But despite the tight schedule, the company continues to strengthen its corporate social responsibility (CRS) efforts by taking part in Daiichi Community’s Inspire 2.0 and Shoebox Project.
Hyundai execs inspired scholars for their future careers
Together with the Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation, the Inspire 2.0 campaign aims to introduce college students under their scholarship program to different professions. HMPH gave the scholars an office tour and career talks led by Mr. Victor Vela, Head of Department for Sales, last November 25, 2022
The sessions mostly talked about how HMPH team members found their way into the automotive industry. They shared the importance of being open to various career opportunities for growth. In one of the presentations, Mr. Vela introduced the company’s car lineup consisting of the Stargazer, Creta, Tucson, and Santa Fe, among others.
HMPH is at one with the younger generation
Meanwhile, the Shoebox Project saw the distribution of school supplies such as notebooks, crayons, notepads, rulers, and school bags to elementary students of the Gat Andres Bonifacio Elementary School located in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Zone 3 last December 13, 2022.
“At Hyundai Motor, we are in a journey towards progress for humanity. Meaning, for us, it’s not all about offering innovative cars but more so enabling quality time,” said HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete.
“After all, we seek to become not just an automotive manufacturer but a mobility solutions provider that [invests] for the good of the people and the planet. This is our gift to mankind. We hope we were able to share and let you experience a piece of this vision,” added Mr. Capacete.
