Geely PH achieves sales milestone, brings in new sales general manager

Ferdinand “Ferdie” Lasan is the brand’s new general manager for vehicle sales.

With the start of 2024, Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corporation (SGAP), the official distributor of Geely cars in the country, reports reaching a huge sales minestrone and bringing in a new general manager for its Vehicle Sales Department.

For its sales achievement, the brand says that it has managed to sell a total of 24,645 units as of 2023. This covers the mere four years it has operated in the Philippine market. It further adds that this is a testament to the trust it has garnered from its customers, dealers, and partners. 

Geely Philippines’ vehicle sales department meanwhile, has onboarded a new general manager. He is Ferdinand “Ferdie” Lasan and he is an industry veteran with over two decades of experience in automotive sales and banking. 

“I am very optimistic about the future of the brand with the able support of additional team members who are the perfect pieces to complement our capabilities in various aspects of vehicle sales. This new and revitalized vehicle sales team will reach greater heights for the brand in 2024 with the support of our dealerships nationwide,” Lasan stated.

On that note, Geely PH and SGAP are optimistic for 2024. It states that it is committed to continue improving its product offerings and to carry on with building on its successes of the past year. 

President and CEO of SGAP Naoyuki Takeda also shared that he is enthusiastic about the upcoming year. He further adds that he has unwavering confidence in Lasan, and he likewise believes that the brand’s vehicle sales team now has the means to face the challenges the new year brings. 

To look back, Geely also brought in the GX3 Pro last year. This model is its most compact crossover, and it was launched back in August 2023. It is currently priced at Php 778,000. Also last year, the brand opened its new customer care hotline service and successfully held its first-ever customer-oriented G-Fest event, among others.
