A couple of months ago, we reported on Sojitz G Auto Philippine (SGAP)’s aggressive dealership expansion plan for 2021. By doing so, the company is seeking to make Geely cars more accessible to more prospective buyers nationwide.

To be specific, the company is looking to open a total of 13 dealerships in different locations nationwide. The last dealership SGAP has opened was the Geely Manila. It has also opened outlets in Lipa, Angeles, Cebu, Pampanga, Paranaque earlier this year.
Fast forward to September, the company inaugurates another branch at Santa Rosa, Laguna. This branch consists of six service bays, and it can also display up to five cars within its showroom. In total, the Geely Santa Rosa facility is sized at 1,500 sqm.
For those who want to visit Geely Santa Rosa, do note that it is located at Km. 49, Santa Rosa – Tagaytay Road, Pulong Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Laguna. It is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Of note, this new outlet in Santa Rosa was done in partnership with SGAP’s dealership partner, Gateway Group. This is the said group’s fifth dealership in the country. The said group started out its ventures in Visayas and Mindanao and it is a veteran in the industry with 15 years of experience under its belt. And now it is also looking to expand its presence to Luzon.

With regards to the new dealership, SGAP President and CEO Yosuke Nishi said that “This is a milestone for SGAP’s partnership with Gateway. A testament that even amid the current global uncertainties, our partners are still putting their full trust in Geely as a fast-rising automotive brand in the country.”
Nishi-san also added that the opening of the facility in Santa Rosa will allow Geely to burst into the mainstream. He also implied that Santa Rosa is a key location as most mainstream car brands have their respective assembly plants located there.
