The newly-opened Geely Manila follows the inauguration of the Chinese automaker’s new dealership in Iloilo. It was supposed to be launched earlier but was postponed due to the threats of the COVID-19 pandemic that disrupted many local businesses.

“This event holds significance as it will be our first dealership undertaking despite the ongoing COVID pandemic. Almost three decades after we have refocused and strengthened our car business. We are adding to our portfolio by building a very modern Geely dealership to service more Filipino customers,” said House of Investments President and CEO Lorenzo Tan during the groundbreaking ceremony.

The Coolray is a subcompact crossover that is hailed as the best-selling unit in its class on multiple occasions. Meanwhile, the Azkarra is a compact crossover that boasts a mild hybrid system. Lastly, the Okavango is a 7-seater vehicle that was launched just last November 2020.
