Its aggressive dealer network expansion pays off.

The Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), the official distributor of Fuso commercial vehicles and trucks in the local market, has just received the Network Expansion Award for 2021/2022. This award was granted to the company during the Daimler Truck Regional Center Southeast (RC Sea) Awards back on November 10, 2022 in Singapore.

Fuso Cainta, one of SFP's newest dealerships

In 2021 to 2022 alone, SFP opened a total of nine dealerships locally. These are located in various regions in the country, and all of them were established together with SPF’s dealer partners.

For the island of Luzon, SPF has established Fuso Lipa and Fuso Pasay with the MG Gateway South Corporation, a Service and Spare Parts Center in Pasay with the Columbian Motor Sales Corporation, Fuso Otis with Megavia Motor Co., Inc., Fuso Cainta under the Peak Motors Philippines Inc, and Fuso Palawan under the Maximotors Corporation.

Down south in Mindanao meanwhile, there’s the new Fuso Cagayan de Oro dealership the Fast Autoworld Philippines Corp., Fuso Davao under with D’Limitless Vehicle Ventures Corporation, and Fuso South Cotabato with the Mindanao Integrated Commercial Enterprises, Inc.

Via its aggressive network growth, SFP and its partners have sworn to continue to work in order to provide better access for customers. It also aims to further strengthen its market performance in the commercial vehicle segment.

The Fuso Canter

If you’re unfamiliar with SFP, then it primarily sells products made by the Japan-based Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV). But apart from that, it also provides other products concerned with cutting-edge mobility solutions.

All SFP products are also designed to have a reduced environmental impact, and they also set the benchmark when it comes to efficiency, comfort, and safety in commercial vehicles.

The most well-known Fuso product locally is the light-duty Canter truck, which the company claims has the top market share in various regions around the world.
