Two weeks into the new year, motorists will have something to look forward to as price rollbacks are expected for petroleum products by Tuesday, January 10.
Pump prices nationwide are set to be slashed this week
On its Facebook page, fuel price watchdog PH Fuel Watch projected a reduction of between Php 2.40 and Php 2.70 per liter of diesel. Meanwhile, gasoline prices will also be Php 0.30 and Php 0.60 per liter. Kerosene prices are also anticipated to be slashed by at least Php 1.50 per liter.
So far, Pilipinas Shell has confirmed that it will be rolling back prices for its FuelSave 91, V-Power Nitro Plus 95, and V-Power Nitro Plus Racing 97 gasoline blends by Php 0.75 per liter. Its FuelSave Diesel and V-Power Nitro Plus Diesel products will be cheaper by Php 2.80 per liter, while kerosene will also get price reductions of Php 2.10 per liter. Adjusted prices will take effect at 6:00 a.m. of January 10.
Unioil has advised its customers to expect price reductions
Unioil announced that it will be slashing prices by up to Php 2.60 per liter for diesel and up to Php 0.60 per liter for gasoline. Petro Gazz said that customers should expect a Php 0.75 per liter price rollback for Prime 91, Premium 95, and Peak 97 gasoline, while Dzlpower fuel should be cheaper by Php 2.80 per liter.
Seaoil will also offer a Php 0.75 per liter rollback for its Extreme 91 and Extreme 97 gasoline blends, along with a Php 2.80 per liter price reduction for Exceed Diesel and Php 2.10 per liter for kerosene. The new prices will be implemented by January 10 at 6:00 a.m.
Cleanfuel is set to adjust its fuel prices by 8:01 a.m. Tuesday
Cleanfuel will be the last to implement the new prices at 8:01 a.m., comprising a Php 0.75 per liter price reduction for Clean 91 and Premium 95 gasoline. Its diesel fuels will also be cheaper by Php 2.80 per liter.
