The Blue Oval brand’s new crossover now has a strong foothold in the local market.

Ford Philippines’ latest addition to the Philippine lineup, the Ford Territory 2022, is celebrating its first anniversary of competing in the local market. Part of the celebration is the compact crossover’s milestone of reaching 5,000 units sold accomplished in under a year.

Ford Territory

Considering that the Ford Territory is received well in the market, it has managed to become one of the best-selling crossover models in the Philippine market. In fact, Ford PH shared that over 30 percent of its total vehicles in the first half of this year were Territory units.

Another impressive sales performance the compact crossover showed is its 1,925 sales numbers for 2020. This number is enough to make it the second best-selling model in Ford Philippines’ lineup, besting the Everest, EcoSport, and Mustang. The Ford Ranger is the top-selling model last year with 9,767 units sold.

Good for five passengers

With the growing popularity of the Ford Territory, the Ford Territory Club Philippines (FTCP) was born and now has over 12,000 members. According to the owners, their favorite features about the model are the following: panoramic moonroof, 360-degree around-view monitor, blind spot information system, and 10-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Powering all variants of the Ford Territory is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine that makes 141 hp and 225 Nm of torque. As standard, the engine is paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It also comes with a Sport Mode for that extra boost on the road.

“These huge successes for the Ford Territory will not be possible without the support and trust of our customers, dealers, partners, and employees. We are excited to sustain the momentum for the remainder of the year as we see more Filipinos enjoy driving a Ford Territory and owning every moment of its,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Breen.

It expanded Ford Philippines' crossover family

As for pricing, the base Trend variant is priced at Php 1,277,000, while the top-of-the-line Titanium+ variant comes with a sticker price of Php 1,310,000.
