This paves the way for Ford PH to become a major parts hub in ASEAN.

Unavailability of car parts has always been a recurring issue among car dealerships in the country, with some car owners stating that parts even take weeks before arriving. This may not seem much, but for someone who uses the vehicle for daily commutes to work, this issue can be troublesome.

Well now, this won’t be the case anymore with Ford car owners as Ford Philippines improved parts availability by adding a new parts warehouse facility. This is used to store and supply up to 30 percent more parts from its current inventory.

“At Ford, we aim to treat our customers like family. We recognize that parts accessibility is very important for our customers and in the overall ownership experience. With the expansion of our parts warehouse facility, we are able to better serve our customers and improve their after-sales experience when it comes to parts availability,” said Ford Philippines Customer Service Division Director Joyce Laxamana.

According to Ford Philippines, the new parts warehouse facility will store parts for all of its lineup including the newer ones such as the F-150, Transit, Territory, and Ranger FX4 MAX. It will also pave the way for Ford Philippines to become a major parts hub for Ford markets in the ASEAN region such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

In addition, the American automaker is ramping up its nationwide direct delivery and same-day delivery programs, going hand-in-hand with its enhancement on parts availability.

The nationwide direct delivery enables the brand to deliver parts straight to all 50 local dealers, while the same-day delivery ensures that parts ordered before 12 noon will arrive the same day for dealers in Metro Manila and in nearby locations.

“We aim to continuously improve on our parts delivery process to expedite the servicing and maintenance of Ford vehicles in our showrooms while maintaining the Ford brand of quality service,” added Laxamana.
