The online reservation period for the Philippine-spec next-gen 2024 Ford Mustang has officially started.

Those itching to get their hands on the latest version of the Blue Oval’s iconic pony car may now head on over to the brand’s online reservation portal to pick between two upcoming variants. These are the Mustang GT Premium Fastback 5.0-liter and the Premium Fastback EcoBoost 2.3-liter.
Besides opening the floodgates for online reservations for the Mustang, Ford Philippines likewise revealed the mechanical specs for its two trims.
For the top-spec Mustang GT Premium Fastback, it uses a 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine that can generate up to 486 horsepower and 567 Nm of torque. The next-gen Mustang is still rear-wheel-drive, with its power managed by a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
The EcoBoost Premium Fastback meanwhile, is propelled by a 2.3-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine that can output 314 hp and 475 Nm of torque to its rear wheels. It also uses a 10-speed automatic gearbox, and it features six selectable drive modes. These are normal, sport, slippery, custom, track, and drag strip.

On top of revealing the Philippine-spec Mustang’s engine and transmission options, Ford PH likewise shared that it now comes standard with the brand’s MagneRide Damping System. In the previous generation, it was exclusive to the top-spec GT. Both next-gen Mustang trims also get Brembo brakes for better stopping power.
Of note, the Mustang’s MagneRide Damping System is an adaptive suspension that promises to balance crisp handling and comfort. It does this by using magnetically controlled dampers.
Other mechanical features of the next-gen coupe include 19-inch aluminum wheels, as well as quad-tip exhausts with active valve functionality. The latter allows the driver to control the level of the vehicle’s exhaust noise.
Inside, the all-new Mustang gets a 13-inch center display, a 12-inch digital driver’s display, and the Ford Co-Pilot360 driver assist suite. The latter includes blind-spot detection with cross-traffic alert and braking, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and evasive steer assist, among others.

Last but not least, the next-gen Mustang for the Philippine market can be integrated into the FordPass app. This means that its owners can remotely monitor the vehicle’s oil, its location, and many other parameters.
Price-wise, the 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium Fastback is priced at Php 3,999,000. The Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium Fastback meanwhile, has a retail price of Php 3,499,000.
Those making an online reservation must pay a Php 30,000 fee. This though, is deductible from the total final price of their rides.
