FordPass’ first year in the Philippines is a huge success

Over 21,000 Ford owners have used the mobile app. 

The Blue Oval brand’s FordPass mobile app has enriched the experience of Ford vehicle owners for one year now.

To date, the brand reports that the app has been downloaded and used by over 21,000 next-gen Ford vehicle users allowing them to remotely lock and unlock their vehicle’s doors, locate their vehicles, and check their vehicle’s status like its engine oil and tire pressure. 

The app can even remotely start a Ford vehicle and pre-cool the car’s interior - a useful feature in a hot Philippine climate. 

On that note, the app has been successful in its mission. As such, Ford Philippines managing director Mike Breen shared that the company is pleased that its clients were able to see the usefulness of the FordPass. 

“We are excited to introduce more features and further enhance the user interface to have more Ford owners enjoy the benefits of a connected vehicle through FordPass,” Breen added. 

One of these upcoming FordPass features is the Online Service Booking (OSB). It is already accessible from Ford Philippines's official website, but the brand says that it will be added to the app in the near future. 

As per its name, the OSB is a convenient way to schedule visits to your nearest Ford service center. The booking service on this system is open 24/7, and it can likewise call for Ford’s express service, as well as provide price estimates for maintenance jobs and repairs. 

Next-gen Ford Everest

The app is compatible with next-gen Ford Ranger and Everest

For Ford owners who want to use the app, all they have to do is download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. However, one must make sure that the phone where the app will be installed has been updated to run on Android 7.0 and above or iOS 14.0 or above. 

Note likewise that this app is compatible with newer Ford vehicles only. This includes all variants of the next-gen Ford Ranger pickup truck and all variants of the next-gen Ford Everest SUV.
