Vehicle safety demonstrations were conducted on anti-lock braking (ABS) and autonomous emergency braking (AEB), two technologies that have become standard on new models as a result of ASEAN NCAP’s efforts.

But the highlight of the celebrations was the Decade of Safer Vehicle Awards, where ASEAN NCAP recognized the car brands who have consistently scored high in crash safety tests in the last 10 years. Not surprisingly, among them are three Japanese brands: Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.
