The 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is all set to put on a show this April.
All systems go for this year's MIAS
With the theme “Shaping Mobility,” the upcoming MIAS is packed with shows that eventgoers will enjoy. One of the main highlights is the Mobility Marathon, which will see a series of car launches from some of the biggest car brands in the country today.
GAC Motor Philippines recently announced that it will launch the Emkoo at the auto show. It is a 5-seater compact crossover that will be slotted in between the GS4 and GS8 in the company’s crossover/SUV lineup. The top-of-the-line GAC Empow GE will also appear at GAC Motor’s MIAS booth.
The MIAS will also see new players in the market including Jetour, a sub-brand under the Chery Group that focuses on selling budget-friendly vehicles. One of the models we could at the new brand’s booth is the Ice Cream, which is an electric vehicle (EV) priced competitively at Php 699,000. But do note that Jetour will as an independent brand locally.

Other participating car brands include BYD, Changan, Chery, Ford, Foton, Geely, GWM (Great Wall Motor), Hyundai, JMC, Mitsubishi, MG, Nissan, Peugeot, and Subaru.
Aside from car brand displays and launches, the MIAS will see host other activities such as the thrilling Russ Swift Car Stunt Show and the Test Drive Avenue. It also includes the return of the Petron Custom and Classic Car Competition, which will award the best-customized car for the year.

The MIAS will also showcase various displays including the Truck Zone, Die-Cast Collection, and Car Club Display.
Don’t miss all the fun at the 2023 MIAS, which is scheduled to happen from April 13 to April 16, 2023. It will be held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
