This is the fourth time the N Vision 74 won an award for its design.

Hyundai Motor Corporation has won not just one, but a whopping six awards from the 2023 Good Design Awards in the United States. Among the winners is the N Vision 74, and this is its fourth major design accolade for 2023.

N Vision 74

Specifically, the N Vision 74 concept car counted among the winners in the design awards organization’s “Transporation” category. This has been labeled as a “grand slam” for the aforementioned concept vehicle as it already won this year’s iF, IDEA, and Red Dot design awards as well.

For those unaware, the N Vision 74 is the brand’s first-ever high-performance hydrogen-powered electric vehicle. It functions as a “rolling laboratory” that Hyundai uses to explore advancements in vehicle design and alternative powertrains.

Looks-wise, this Hyundai concept assumes a retro look inspired by the 1947 Hyundai Pony concept. Its drivetrain was co-developed with Rimac Automobili, and its dual electric motors, together with its hydrogen fuel cells, are capable of making a total of 670 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.

Hyundai Ioniq 6

Likewise included in the winner’s list under the same category are the Ioniq 6, Grandeur, and the Kona. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 electric vehicle was praised particularly for its unique appearance and well-packaged interior.

The Kona meanwhile, was recognized for its front-mounted seamless horizon lamp and elegant looks, while the Grandeur won the said award for its futuristic exterior styling and luxurious interior.

Besides garnering accolades for its vehicles, the Korean car brand also achieved wins from the Good Design Awards for its technology products. This includes the “Seon” next-generation connected car navigation cockpit (ccNC). Of note, this is an infotainment system that gets an eye-catching look thanks to a combination of straight lines and ovals.

Another is the “Sans UI” font which is designed for Hyundai’s future mobility products. As a digital typeface, it maximizes readability on vehicle-equipped screens like central touchscreens and digital gauge clusters in a variety of situations.

Of note, both the Seon and the Sans UI also won the Red Dot Awards for 2023.
