Refreshed 2024 Hyundai Creta launched in India
For now, Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) has not yet indicated if the local market is getting this updated model but let’s go into a deep dive into the updated crossover’s styling, features, and mechanical specs.
Exterior
From the front of the updated Creta, one can see that Hyundai gave it a blocky redesign. The grille itself no longer resembles the one on the Hyundai Tucson, but it is now square-shaped and is much larger than before.
The parametric lighting setup is still retained with its new LED daytime running lamps sitting flush between the grille and the edge of the hood. The LED headlamps, in turn, were consolidated into a more compact size with two distinct sections. Down below the faux skid plate likewise reflects the new squared-off shape of the grille.

From the side, the update provides the new Creta with a new silver-colored piece that follows the upper contour of its windows. The general shape of the vehicle, as well as its wheels, remains unchanged.
Towards the rear, Hyundai also revamped the Creta’s LED taillights. It now appears more compact, and it features a light bar that straddles the width of the vehicle. This lighting fixture also sits on top of a new greyish trim piece which also spans the width of the rear. Last but not the least is a larger faux rear skit-plate which helps emphasize the Creta’s SUV-ness.

Size-wise, the 2024 Creta for the Indian market has grown a bit. Its length now spans 4,330mm, which is 15mm longer compared to the pre-facelift model. It also gained 5mm in height with a total of 1,635mm. Width and wheelbase length though, remain the same at 1,790mm and 2,610mm respectively.
Interior
For the interior, massive changes were made to its dashboard. The central screen is now seamlessly integrated into the digital driver display making for a more “cockpit-like” look. The center console was likewise made more compact and the controls for the dual-zone automatic climate control were switched around as well. The air-conditioning vents were also made to look more sleek and were repositioned lower on the dashboard.
Updated Creta's dashboard
The refreshed Creta’s steering wheel, on the other hand, retains the old four-spoke design, but the shifter and driving controls were rearranged for easier reach. It also gets more piano black plastic trims, and the silver trim surrounding the shifter boot was also expanded and extended to encompass the center console cup holder.
In total, the updated Creta can still comfortably seat five, but the driver’s seat now features power adjustability. Furthermore, the rear cabin was made more convenient with the addition of type-C USB charging ports. For cargo though, capacity remains unchanged with a default of 433 liters.
