The Ford Ranger nameplate has been receiving new variants in recent times. One of the latest additions is the Ford Ranger Tremor.

Based on the workhorse-focused XLT, the highlight of the Ford Ranger Tremor is the installation of off-road upgrades. It is said to be targeting customers who “require enhanced capabilities in challenging off-road conditions.”
With that being said, the new truck gets a substantially reworked chassis with unique suspension enhancements including Bilstein dampers as standard. Off-road tech upgrades are also part of the package including the addition of Trail Turn Assist and Trail Control, which operates like cruise control.

Not only do the upgrades improve the off-road performance but also help create a tougher stance. This is complemented by the distinctive long-leg tubular sports bar. It also comes with the segment-first Flexible Rack System, which makes it easier to load ladders, planks, or even kayaks.
Moving into the interior, the truck features water-resistant and easily cleaned vinyl trims for the seats and floor. An option for a pre-wired overhead switch pack is available, offering six inputs for auxiliary equipment such as LED light bars.

Under the hood is a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that makes 202 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Now featuring an all-wheel drive system, the engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ford will start receiving orders for the Ranger Tremor from April 2023 in Europe, with initial deliveries expected from August 2023. The company is also offering the new Wildtrak X, which gets the same upgrades as the Tremor.
“The new Ranger Wildtrak X and Tremor series follow the same recipe as our iconic Ranger Raptor; each one adds even more off-road ability and stunning looks to Europe’s most popular pickup truck,” said Ford Pro Europe General Manager Hans Schep.
“Together, they broaden the latest Ranger family to new levels, strengthening its appeal to more customers than ever,” added Schep.

As mentioned earlier, the Blue Oval company has lately been coming up with different Ranger variants. These include the Wildtrak X, Stormtrak, and the diesel-powered Ranger Raptor.
