Dodge unveiled the second model under its Last Call edition series with the 2023 Charger Super Bee.

To keep you up to speed, the Last Call is the American automaker’s answer to electrification. It will release the last seven muscle car models to roll off Dodge’s production lines before the brand shifts to an electrified lineup. The Charger Super Bee is the second model following the Challenger Shakedown revealed last week.
The Super Bee nameplate first debuted in 1968 and was later adopted by the Dodge Charger in 1971. It provided the company an entry into the ultra-high-performance vehicle segment. Moreover, the Super Bee is developed to not only dominate the tracks but also to be used as a daily driver.
“The Dodge Super Bee is more than commemorative of a cool heritage name – it is also a Charger variant of the Challenger 1320 grassroots race package,” said Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer Tim Kuniskis.
“The special edition 2023 Dodge Changer Super Bee once again offers a Dodge vehicle that is equally at home on the street or on the drag strip,” added Kuniskis.
This edition aims to bring the thunder
Based on the Dodge Charger Scat Pack, the special edition comes with exclusive “Super Bee” exterior badging on the grille, front and rear fenders, and hood scoop. To make it drag-ready, the vehicle gets adaptive damping suspension with Drag Mode and 20-inch wheels with 275-width drag radial tires for the Scat Pack trim (18-inch wheels with 315-width drag radials for the Scat Pack Widebody trim).
Other upgrades include a black Mopar hood pin kit, an SRT hood with functional scoop and dual heat extractors, SRT black exhaust tips, a red four-piston Brembo brake system, Super Bee interior instrument panel badge, and Super Bee seatback logos. All of these are installed to offer the highest-performance Charger Super Bee model ever produced.
It pays homage to the Super Bee nameplate
The 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee edition will be limited to 1,000 units – 500 Scat Pack units in B5 Blue and 500 Scat Pack Widebody units in Plum Crazy. It is one of the last Chargers with an internal combustion engine (ICE) as the nameplate will soon use an electrified powertrain as shown by the all-electric Charger Daytona SRT Concept.
