The latest release will be limited to 100 examples in Europe.

Audi’s TT coupe continues to soldier on with its third generation since the model was introduced in 1998. Now, it has a new iteration in the form of the TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition for the 2023 model year.

Audi: Progress never ends

“The name of the Audi TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition says it all,” said Audi Sport GmbH Managing Director Sebastian Grams. “The edition model is reminiscent of the iconic TT design language, which at the same time stands for courage and elegance in uncompromising form.”

Limited to just 100 units in the European market, the TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition celebrates 25 years of the Audi TT’s existence. It still sports the typical lines of the original roadster, highlighting a minimalist design that makes for dramatically clean aesthetics.

Celebrating 25 years of the TT nameplate

A glossy black honeycomb mesh grille and badging lend a premium air, seated between LED headlamps and accompanying the iconic Audi rings. The front splitter, side flics, and blades in the side front air intakes are all part of the included Aerokit developed in wind tunnel testing. Sharp character lines on the profile stand in contrast to the steeply curved roofline.

The fixed carbon rear wing with side winglets delivers both performance and efficiency, complemented by oval-shaped exhaust tips. A set of edition-specific 20-inch alloy wheels with matching brake calipers can be found on all four corners, and the entire car is bathed in a Nardo Grey finish, one of the most popular colors with customers.

The clean design of the original TT is still evident

Inside, the TT RS Iconic Edition carries over the dark color scheme of the exterior. Occupants settle down on two-tone seats with side panels dressed in Nappa leather in jet gray matched with an Alcantara center console, the latter featuring contrast yellow stitching.

Despite the limited accommodations, the car still manages to pack ambient lighting. The Audi virtual cockpit presents vehicle information clearly to the driver, while a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System delivers a rich audio experience.

Powering the latest TT is the award-winning 2.5-liter turbocharged stratified fuel injection (TFSI) engine with five cylinders rated at 400 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque.

A special black interior with contrast yellow accents awaits occupants

All that power is harnessed by the 7-speed S Tronic dual-clutch transmission working with the Quattro permanent all-wheel drivetrain, allowing the TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition to sprint from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds. Top speed is set at 280 kilometers per hour.

The RS Sport suspension plus uses Audi magnetic ride technology’s adaptive dampers to deliver superb handling and stability, while Audi’s select driving dynamics system enhances steering feel and response.

It will be limited to 100 units in the European market

Customers can even configure their TT units further with Audi’s exclusive customization program. The 2023 Audi TT RS Coupe Iconic Edition starts at 113,050 euros (almost Php 6.5 million), with European deliveries by the first quarter of 2023.
