Some roads will be closed to complete the repair.

NLEX Corporation has always prioritized the safety of motorists who are traversing not only its toll roads but also its bridges and overpasses. As such, the company has started undertaking a preventive maintenance program for its road networks along NLEX-SCTEX (North Luzon Expressway-Subic – Clark – Tarlac Expressway).

Roads along NLEX-SCTEX are under maintenance

Under the preventive maintenance program, NLEX Corporation is conducting girder strengthening, crack repairs, replacement of components, application of anti-corrosive paint, among others. It will require some lanes to be closed temporarily so motorists can expect a few delays.

Along with the repair works is the installation of upgraded RFID scanners to more toll lanes. With this, NLEX Corporation can provide quick and efficient toll gate operations, lessening the motorists’ travel times. It has also integrated the automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) system for contactless apprehensions.

Safety is essential in NLEX Corporation's operations

The ongoing preventive maintenance program is NLEX Corporation’s commitment to operating safe roads and providing excellent customer service. It is expected to be completed in August this year.

“Apart from maintaining the pavement of our roads, we also conduct the upkeep of our interchange bridges, overpasses, and other structures to maintain their reliability and ensure their optimum condition, therefore giving our motorists a safe and efficient travel route,” said NLEX Corporation President and General Manager J. Luigi L. Bautista.
