Changan Automobile announced that it gave the Changan CS75 Plus a refreshed look for its 2022 model, with significant design updates from the front to the back. Despite the tweaks, the vehicle still retains its sporty and aggressive exterior appearance, as well as its premium-like interior finish.
2022 Changan CS75 Plus
As a recap, the second-generation version of the compact crossover was introduced last 2019. It succeeded the first-generation version which had a good six-year run in the automotive market. With that being said, a facelift just sounds about right. Let’s take a look at the new design features of the facelifted Changan CS75 Plus.
Starting with the front, the 2022 Changan CS75 Plus gets a redesigned bumper that flaunts vertical slats instead of a mesh-type finish. Perhaps the most significant change is the new light bar that stretches in between the revamped headlights. This creates a unique and innovative theme to the crossover’s face.
Interior of the Changan CS75 Plus
The side profile appears to be similar to the outgoing model, except this time the facelift uses a new set of multi-spoke wheels. At the rear, the redesigned taillights sport a full-width light which complements the light bar up front. Other rear design elements include a quad exhaust setup, blacked-out diffuser, and reflectors that are now tilted horizontally.
Inside, the cabin layout pretty much stays the same. The interior photo released by Changan gets a white and blue interior theme, creating a premium-like finish. Currently, a sporty red and black color scheme is available in the PH-spec model. The only new feature is the larger 12.3-inch display for both the infotainment and instrument cluster, replacing the 12-inch head unit and 7-inch LCD panel.
A noteworthy facelift
No specifications have been released by the Chinese automaker including the engine and pricing. Those should be out once the facelifted 2022 Changan CS75 Plus makes its first public appearance at the upcoming Guangzhou International Motor Show. As of this writing, Changan Philippines hasn’t put out any word regarding the matter.
