The Kia Stinger 2023 is a midsize, five-door liftback that uses a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. Its sole variant in the Philippine market is the Stinger GT 3.3 V6 AT and it starts at Php 3,235,000.
Size-wise, the Stinger is 4,830mm long, 1,870mm wide, and 1,400mm in height. It also has a ground clearance of 130mm.
Under the hood of the Kia Stinger is a 3.3-liter V6 gasoline engine that can make up to 365 horsepower and 510 Nm of torque. It is then paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox sending power to its rear wheels.
Locally, the Kia Stinger competes against the Lexus IS, Mazda6, Jaguar XF, Chevrolet Camaro, BMW 3 series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, etc.
Launch
The Kia Stinger 2023 was unveiled at the 2017 North American International Autoshow. Its design was partially based on the Coca Cola Bottle.
Locally, Kia Motors Philippines introduced this mighty sedan at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show. It was well applauded as it's the most powerful model released by the Korean company since they started producing automobiles.

The Stinger Philippines measures 4,830mm long, 1,870mm wide, and 1,400mm tall. Its front bears the company’s tiger-nose grille paired with sharp LED headlights and fog lamps. A wide air intake is displayed on the front bumper, adding a sense of power to its serious look.
The lines on its athletic body with dark chrome trims exudes a modern aura. The rear, with highlights such as hood vents and quad-tip exhausts, is designed as a liftback that adds convenience during cargo loading.
Kia Stinger Interior
The 2023 Kia Stinger’s spacious cabin features supple leather, textured surfaces, and high-quality materials. The passengers and driver’s seats are covered in leather and can be adjusted automatically. The seats are affixed with four-way lumbar support and automatically adjustable in eight ways.
Passengers on the front will get spoiled as they get to enjoy ventilated seats and good access to the wireless smartphone charger near the console. For utmost convenience, passengers at the rear of the Kia Stinger get separate air conditioning vents. They can also charge their mobile devices using a charging port.

The Kia Stinger is packed with innovations such as an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It can be connected through Bluetooth or USB. The sound system is provided by nine Harman/Kardon speakers.
Added features include automatic cruise control, automatic climate control, a seven-inch multi-function display for the gauge cluster, push start, smart key entry, tire pressure monitor, and electronic parking brake. The Kia Stinger 2023 is built using a combination of engineered frame and unibody chassis. It guarantees a seamless performance whether in relaxed or racing mode. It is equipped with a combination of a Macpherson Strut and shock suspension at the front, and a five-link multi-link suspension at the rear. To complement its speed, highly efficient and reliable Brembo brake calipers and disc are installed in its 19-inch wheels.

The all-new Kia Stinger runs using a powerful 3.3-liter twin-turbo Lambda II V6 engine paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. It can generate 365 hp and a torque of 510 Nm.
