Last year, Korean automaker Kia rolled out its new logo as part of its rebranding moving forward. The new logo represents the company’s commitment to becoming an icon and innovation. It now comes with a design that spells the Kia lettering in an unbroken matter and removes the round outline.
New Kia logo on the Stinger
Kia started to introduce the new logo in different markets in Asia including India, Malaysia, and few Middle Eastern countries. And now, Kia Philippines announced that it will be launching the new logo in its operations on November 8, 2021.
This means that Filipinos can expect to see the new logo at Kia dealerships in the country. Also, Kia models in the Philippine lineup are expected to wear the new logo sometime in the future. These include the Forte, Grand Carnival, K2500, Picanto, Rio, Seltos, Soluto, Sorento, Sportage, Stinger, and Stonic.
The new Kia logo will officially arrive in the country
One of the pioneers of the new logo is the Kia K8 which was unveiled earlier this year. It boasts the new logo both at the front and the rear. This is different from the new 2022 model of the Kia Stinger as it only gets the new logo at the front end. The rear of the sports sedan is embedded with the Stinger print.
Another Kia model that is seen with the new logo is the next-gen 2022 Kia Sportage. The compact crossover is designed with sharp-looking daytime running lights (DRLs) that take the form of a boomerang. It also comes with the brand’s signature tiger-nose grille, new taillights with a full-width design, and a redesigned interior.
All-new Kia Sportage with the new logo
Aside from the new logo, Kia debuted its new design language with the 2022 EV6, the first of the 11 planned electric vehicles (EVs) to be unveiled to the public. All these exciting changes are made to proactively shape and adapt to the rapid transformation in the automotive industry.
