Several companies have pledged their respective gift of appreciation to the country’s first Olympic gold medalist. Among those is Kia Philippines, which handed over the keys of the top-of-the-line Stonic to Diaz. Of note, Kia PH is under the management of AC Motors, which is part of Ayala Corporation.

Diaz expressed her gratitude to the car company, and shared that the Stonic will give her the lift she needs in getting to and from her destination especially in Metro Manila.

"Thank you sa pag-recognize sa pagka-panalo ko. Thank you so much na na-appreciate ninyo yung nagawa ko para sa bansa," Hidilyn said.

(Thank you for recognizing my win. Thank you so much for appreciating what I was able to do for the country.)
