The 2023 Honda Civic is a compact, five-door sedan. It is now in its eleventh-generation. For the Philippine market, the Civic has a price range of Php 1,583,000 to Php 1,775,000. It has three variants consisting of the V Turbo, and the RS Turbo as the top-spec trim. All of them are equipped with the Honda Sensing driver assist safety suite, and all use a 1.5-liter turbocharged VTEC inline-4 gasoline engine capable of making up to 175 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. All trims use a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

In 2023, Honda Philippines brought in the eleventh-generation Civic for the 2023 model year. As a totally new model, the 2023 Civic comes with a sleeker exterior design, more safety technologies, as well as an improved drivetrain. Specifically, all trims are now turbocharged.
Toyota Civic Exterior

All trims also have 12-volt charging ports, but only the RS Turbo comes with a dual-zone automatic air-conditioning system. The V Turbo meanwhile, gets a single-zone automatic air-conditioning system.
Honda Civic Platform & Chassis
Like the older Civic models, the new Honda Civic 2023 still uses a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. For suspensions, this Honda sedan uses a MacPherson strut for the front, and multi-link for the rear. Braking is then handled by disc brakes for all four wheels.
Lastly, all trims use an electric parking brake with auto brake hold function.

Standard on the Honda Civic 2023 is the 1.5-liter turbocharged L-series DOHC VTEC engine. At maximum, it can make up to 175 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. All come standard with a continuously variable transmission, and only the top-spec Civic RS Turbo comes with paddle shifters.
