Japanese marque Nissan is known to produce some of the cars that are well-known in the mod scene. It almost seems like the automaker purposely leaves room for tuning and modification which a lot of car enthusiasts can appreciate. One of which cars would be its subcompact sedan entry, the Nissan Almera.

The Nissan Almera might be an economy car considering its target market, but this model can look upscale with a few modifications here and there. By then, it can go side-by-side with its larger siblings such as the Nissan 370Z. With that being said, let’s take a look at some modified Nissan Almera units.
Nissan Almera: Edgier Sedan
The fourth-gen Nissan Almera is a relatively new model in the country as it was introduced only in October 2021. But in our neighboring countries like Thailand, this sleeker version has been out for quite some time already. As such, aftermarket shops like Ter Studio had the time to get their hands on modifying the subcompact sedan.

Ter Studio installed its Drive68 body kits which give the modded sedan an aggressive look. Red accents can also be seen on the front blacked-out splitter, side sills, and revamped rear bumper, reminiscent of Nismo upgrades. Nissan doesn’t offer a Nismo version of the Almera. The closest is the VL N-Sport which is available in the local market.
Nissan Almera: Tougher build
Looking at the Drive86 mod, one can say that it looks neat and simple. That could be a good thing especially for those who don’t like driving a flashy car. But if you prefer looking more aggressive, then maybe Amotriz’s LUMGA body kit for the Nissan Almera should tickle your fancy.

This Almera mod is highlighted by black finishes on the front fascia, hood, wheels, side sills, rear spoiler or wing, and rear bumper. At the back, Amotriz offers a tri-exhaust setup similar to the one seen in the Honda Civic Type R. Now that the model is turbocharged as standard, installing sporty equipment sounds about right.
Nissan Almera: Rocket Bunny Custom
For those who still own the third-gen Nissan Almera, this mod might be just for you. Rocket Bunny is a renowned Japanese car tuner that specializes in producing wide-body kits. However, this particular build, shared by Galeri Kereta, is a custom Rocket Bunny-inspired build by N1 Bodykit.

Since it has a Rocket Bunny badge, the Nissan Almera comes with large wheel fenders to showcase just that. It is equipped with a massive spoiler, front splitter, and rear diffuser to give the vehicle a more aerodynamic appearance. Additionally, red accents on the front, sides, and rear are added to reflect a Nismo finish.
