Toyota Innova Color: Which hue is best for you?

Updated Mar 04, 2022

This hot-selling MPV brings practicality and looks to match.

The Toyota Innova carries on as the best-selling multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in the country. Much of the vehicle’s reputation is credited to the badge itself, which has spawned generations of loyal fans for its famed reliability.

Toyota has carefully curated a selection of colors for its Innova MPV

Little wonder that the Innova sold over 13,000 units in 2021. It may be a far cry from the record 24,434 examples it handed over to buyers in 2017, but it’s an impressive feat nevertheless given the COVID-19 pandemic. The observation that Filipinos value versatile vehicles that can fulfill a variety of roles still holds true.

But aside from utility, car buyers will naturally rank appearance high on their list of criteria. After all, it’s the first thing everyone notices on a vehicle. If you’re in the market for a Toyota Innova, there are no less than seven exterior colors to choose from.

Base colors

The entry-level Innova J variant which retails for Php 1,186,000 is offered in Super White II. Complementing the Innova’s dimensions, the white hue further gives the impression of size, apart from serving as a blank canvas to make company or transport markings more visible.

Toyota Innova in Silver Metallic

Another color available on this trim level is Silver Metallic 1, which gives a slightly more neutral appearance and does a good job of concealing surface dirt (at least from distance).

Toyota Innova Red Mica Metallic

If you prefer to add a dash of color to your garage, there’s also the Red Mica Metallic option that will certainly turn heads.

Midrange colors

Both the Silver Metallic 1 and Red Mica are also standard colors on the E variant, which costs between Php 1,285,000 and Php 1,355,000. The trim level is also available in Black 1 that gives off an elegant vibe, as well as a deeper shade of red in Blackish Red Mica that provides an upmarket feel.

Toyota Innova Black 1

Higher up on the Innova range is the G variant that ranges from Php 1,522,000 to Php 1,592,000, sporting the most colors available in the lineup with a total of five exterior hues as options.

Toyota Innova in Blackish Red Mica

It drops the Red Mica found on the lower variants, replacing it with Alumina Jade Metallic and White Pearl Crystal Shine, the latter costing an additional Php 15,000.

Flagship colors

The upscale-looking Blackish Red Mica and subdued Alumina Jade Metallic both make an appearance on the top-spec Innova V, which retails for Php 1,739,000.

These are accompanied by the eye-catching White Peal Crystal Shine that’s definitely more visually striking than the Super White II at the other end of the spectrum, for a small premium.

While both the base and top-spec Innova trims come in only three colors each, the selection of hues on the Innova V emphasize its stature as the top offering in the range. All three colors complement the variants exterior features such as LED exterior lighting, chrome bits, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
