Ford Territory Financing: How much do you need to buy one?

Updated May 24, 2023

Stake your claim to the loaded compact crossover from Ford PH.

The Territory was one of the left-field releases from Ford Philippines in 2020. Despite coming in the latter half of the year, the compact crossover proceeded to make waves in its segment, leading the Blue Oval brand to post sales of 2,000 units in just five months.

The Ford Territory is a strong contender in the local compact crossover segment

It comes as no surprise, given the Territory’s successful formula of modern design, sophisticated technology, and a competitive price point. As it’s also a joint undertaking between Ford and Jiangling Motors of China, the Territory seems poised to take on its slew of competitors imported from the mainland.

Find out just how much you might need to earn for the chance to drive one home.

Ford Territory Trend 1.5 CVT

The base Ford Territory variant’s feature set already represents value for the peso, featuring LED headlamps, foglamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels. There’s a panoramic moonroof up top bringing ambient light into the interior, which accommodates up to five occupants. Automatic temperature controls work with the activated carbon filter, while a 10-inch touchscreen handles communications and entertainment.

The design alone already turns heads on the street

A 1.5L EcoBoost engine supplies power, routed to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission with Sport Mode. Cruise control is standard, along with 6 airbags, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

The Trend is priced at Php 1,277,00, representing a Php 78,000 premium on account of the safeguard tariffs. A downpayment of 20 percent or Php 255,400 and a payment term of 36 months, for example, will result in amortization of Php 35,715.

Doubling the downpayment to 40 percent or Php 510,800, the monthly bill will only be Php 18,470 if you choose a 60-month payment scheme.

Ford Territory Titanium+ 1.5 CVT

As the range-topper, the Titanium+ has more toys to offer. There are automatic headlamps for instance, as well as power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and 18-inch wheels.

Power-adjustable driver’s seats work with the tilt and telescopic steering column to find the perfect driving position, as you look at the 10-inch digital instrument panel. Ambient lighting is also standard, as well as wireless charging.

Occupants are surrounded by a spacious and tech-laden interior

The Ford Territory Titanium+ also comes equipped with driver-assist features, including adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, and enhanced active parking assist. A high-definition 360-degree surround camera eliminates blind spots.

Going for the flagship variant will set you back Php 1,299,000. For financing, a 48-month payment term will yield a recurring bill of Php 25,584, if you make a 30 percent downpayment or Php 389,700.

Let’s say you decide to stretch it to 48 months, but with a 40 percent downpayment or Php 519,600. That will bring in a monthly amortization of Php 21,929.

If you’re feeling rather generous with a 50 percent downpayment or Php 649,500 and want to max out the financing term at 60 months, it will only amount to a monthly bill of Php 15,657.
