The Aston Martin DBX made its world debut in 2019. The DBX is Aston Martin’s first-ever crossover SUV, a vehicle that can accommodate up to five occupants. In 2020, the DBX officially made its ASEAN debut during the 41st Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. With that in mind, there’s a good chance that the Philippine market will also be getting the Aston Martin DBX since most of the cars offered in Thailand are also available in the local market.
Launch
The DBX is Aston Martin’s first-ever crossover SUV that debuted globally in 2019. A year later, the Aston Martin DBX made its ASEAN regional debut at the 2020 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. This 2021, Aston Martin Philippines is looking to launch the DBX crossover SUV. However, the company has yet to announce the DBX’s actual local launch date. Moreover, Aston Martin PH has yet to determine the price tag of the DBX.
Exterior
The Aston Martin DBX comes with a bold and composed stance. Despite being a crossover SUV, the DBX still has the brand’s sporty DNA in its exterior design. It is fitted with sweptback LED headlights as well as LED daytime running lights. The DBX also comes with the brand’s signature grille design while its hood comes with twin vents. The rear of the Aston Martin DBX comes with a tailgate-mounted spoiler, and slim LED taillights that give character to the vehicle’s rear. It also has dual exhaust pipes and it is finished off with a set of 22-inch wheels.
Interior
Inside, the Aston Martin DBX features a premium vibe. It features a leather interior with Alcantara material. The DBX also has 12-way electric front seats along with other interior amenities such as heated seats, power-folding mirrors, stat/stop button, automatic climate control, ambient lighting (64 color options), among many others.
Tech & Safety
The Aston Martin DBX is never short when it comes to tech and safety features. This crossover SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch multimedia touchscreen that’s integrated with Apple CarPlay, USB ports, among others. Of note, the DBX features an Aston Martin Premium Audio System that comes with a total of 14 speakers. Safety-wise, the DBX comes standard with an anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, traction control, brake assist, hill start assist, and hill descent assist.
Platform & Chassis
The Aston Martin DBX features an independent double-wishbone at the front while a multi-link setup at the rear. For braking power, the DBX comes with ventilated discs for all four wheels.
Engine
The Aston Martin DBX is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo that delivers 543 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
