The 2024 Geely GX3 Pro

Previewed first at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the GX3 Pro is touted as the Geely Coolray’s smaller, more compact sibling. So what does this subcompact crossover from Geely offer prospective buyers? Let’s talk about it in depth to find out.

Exterior

Appearance-wise, the GX3 Pro gets a pair of sharp-looking headlights with LED daytime running lamps, a slatted grille, and a curvy lower front bumper that houses a functional vent.

Its sides then come with black plastic claddings just like many crossovers in the market right now. Visual pizzaz for this section is then provided by several character lines and a set of 16-inch alloy wheels which come standard for the model. Both trims also get roof rails and power side mirrors.

The rear of the vehicle then sports a pair of LED taillights with integrated U-shaped turn signal lamps. Up top is a roof-mounted spoiler, while the bottom of the rear comes with an eye-catching design with a faux diffuser.

Size-wise, this crossover is 4,005mm long, 1,760mm wide, and 1,575mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,480mm and a ground clearance of 185mm.

Interior

Inside the GX3 Pro is a space fit for five including the driver. That’s standard for subcompacts, but this also has a sunroof which isn’t normally seen on vehicles of this size.

Other than that, this new Geely provides a 3.5-inch meter cluster, a leather-wrapped (Comfort) flat-bottom tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and an electronic air-conditioning system. Both trims get PVC seat covers.

According to Geely, the GX3 Pro comes with a default cargo capacity of 400 liters. If more space is needed, the rear seats can be folded down with a 60:40 split.
