Japanese automaker Honda has unveiled the all-new HR-V with significant updates inside and out. The Honda HR-V crossover is now finally on its third-generation model after competing in the global automotive market for over two decades.
In comparison to the second-gen model, the all-new Honda HR-V sports a more contemporary design language from front to back. The round roofline of the second-gen HR-V has been discontinued and replaced with a straighter layout which makes it look longer.

Most new production vehicles get more aggressive with their body character lines. However, the all-new HR-V shied from that trend and went on with simpler aesthetics. It is still rocking the hidden rear door handles that provide a two-door appeal.
The all-new Honda HR-V comes with redesigned front fascia starting off with the new LED headlights that seamlessly blend with the redesigned grille. The new front grille looks more subtle which results in the third-gen model looking more like an electric vehicle.

Going to the back, the all-new Honda HR-V still looks like the outgoing model. However, tiny details are added that create modern touches such as the new and sleeker full-width LED taillights and reflectors. It is still designed with a black long trim that runs from the front lower bumper to the wheel fenders and rear bumper.
Inside, the quirky-looking A/C vents from the outgoing model are redesigned to look more subtle and fitting with the dashboard. The all-new Honda HR-V is also installed with a new 9-inch infotainment screen that sports a floating screen design.

How do you like the changes on the third-gen?
Powering the all-new Honda HR-V is a naturally-aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine which is pretty decent for its segment. It is also offered with a hybrid powertrain that uses the same engine but paired with a synchronous electric motor.
The Japanese market will get the all-new Honda HR-V firsthand around April this year, followed by other markets later this year. The local crossover segment is getting more competitive with the recent releases, but Honda Philippines sure has a strong contender once it brings in the all-new HR-V in the country.
