Besides those additions, the vehicle shares the same specifications as the facelifted 2023 Mitsubishi Xpander. New to this iteration of Mitsubishi’s MPV is the Active Yaw Control (AYC), which applies selective braking on the inside wheel during turns for better cornering performance. It also comes with a more aggressive design underscored by the revamped dynamic shield.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter 4A91 gasoline engine capable of generating 103 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. It sends power to the front wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Besides the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 60th Anniversary Edition, MMPC will also display a 1987 Lancer Boxtype to commemorate the milestone. The modified Mitsubishi Strada rally car that won the championship at the 2022 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR) will also join the automaker’s booth at MIAS.
