プリウスから付けられたこのバッジには、地球に暮らす人々の幸せを大切にし、次世代にそれを引き継いでいきたいというメッセージが込められています。

Showing mostly the rear of the vehicle, the teaser video was shared on X (formally Twitter). What few design details that are visible include its sharp, angular rear bumper together with an LED taillight bar. It also gets a wide stance with its track width far exceeding the width of the vehicle’s greenhouse.
The rear of the vehicle also bears the Beyond Zero blue dot logo. The brand explains that this represents the company's global effort to achieve carbon neutrality for its products, as well as its manufacturing processes. Toyota further explains that the bZ initiative collectively represents its efforts to preserve our home planet for the next generation.
The teaser only shows bits of the vehicle's rear
Other than what was shown though, not much was shared about the upcoming bZ model. Its license plate though, clearly states that it is another compact SUV, just like the Toyota bZ4X which was launched globally by the brand back in 2022.
According to several sources, however, this upcoming crossover EV might sit below the larger bZ4X in terms of size. It is likewise said to be larger than the Corolla Cross. It also isn’t certain yet, but some are reporting that this might be the global version of the bZ3.
Of note, the Toyota bZ3 already exists as a production model. The catch is, that the latter is a China-exclusive vehicle developed together with Build Your Dreams (BYD). There’s also the fact that the currently existing bZ3 is a sedan.
The Toyota bZ4X
With the impending release of a new bZ model, it seems that Toyota is indeed working on making good on its promise to launch a total of 15 bZ EVs - an initiative that the Japanese company revealed way back in 2021.
