Suzuki Philippines is once again expanding its dealer network as it held the groundbreaking of a new dealership in Silang, Cavite.
Suzuki Auto Silang, which is the second 3S dealership to emerge from the Japanese company’s partnership with NXT Mile Motors Inc., is set to be operational by the first quarter of 2025. The upcoming Suzuki Auto Silang will be situated at Dragon Textile Compound, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Lalaan 1.
Suzuki Philippines Automobile Division General Manager Norihide Takei expressed his heartfelt appreciation and excitement for the commencement of this groundbreaking venture. Takei also extended his sincere gratitude to NXT Mile Motors Inc. for their unwavering support and dedication, highlighting their pivotal role in bringing Suzuki Auto Silang to fruition.
"I'm deeply appreciative of everyone who has contributed to making this project a reality … Let's work together to ensure its success and eagerly await its opening day," Takei said.
Suzuki Philippines said that the new dealership will have the capability to display five vehicles in the showroom as well as come with eight service bays, spanning a total dealer area of 2,000 sqm.
The company added that the upcoming Suzuki Auto Silang dealership will offer the residents of Silang, Cavite, and neighboring areas convenient access to Suzuki vehicles and exceptional service. It also aims to create a welcoming environment for all customers, embodying Suzuki's commitment to excellence.
The latest offering from Suzuki Philippines is the 2024 Jimny 5-Door, which is offered in three variants with a starting price of Php 1,558,000 for the entry-level GL trim. The mid-spec GLX meanwhile, retails for Php 1,698,000 for the mono-color versions. The GLX Two-Tone then retails at Php 1,708,000.
All 2024 Suzuki Jimny 5-Door variants are powered by a 1.5-liter K15B inline-4 gasoline that delivers 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The entry-level GL gets a five-speed manual transmission while the GLX and GLX Two-Tone trims are fitted with a four-speed automatic gearbox.
