Suzuki Jimny 5-Door 2024 Price Philippines & Official Promos

The all-new 2024 Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is a compact SUV for the Philippine market. It is a slightly larger version of the original 3-Door version, and locally, it has two available variants. The entry-level Jimny 5-Door GL MT retails at Php 1,558,000, while the GLX AT is priced at Php 1,698,000. The GLX 5-Door AT Two-Tone meanwhile, retails at Php 1,708,000. 

Size-wise, the Jimny 5-Door is 3,820mm long, 1,645mm wide, and 1,720mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,590mm and a ground clearance of 210mm. 

Under the hood of the Jimny 5-Door is a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine that generates up to 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The GL exclusively uses a five-speed manual gearbox, while the upper trims come with a four-speed automatic transmission. 

Locally, the Jimny 5-Door has a few similar ladder-frame competitors. But its closest rivals (size-wise) are the Geely Coolray, Toyota Raize, Kia Stonic, MG ZS, Chery Tiggo 5X, Hyundai Creta, etc.

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Launch

The Suzuki Jimny 5-Door was introduced to the Philippine market in January 2024. At launch, it has three different variants. There’s the GL MT, GLX AT, and the GLX AT Two-Tone. Prices for these range from Php 1,558,000 to Php 1,708,000. 

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Exterior

On the outside, the Jimny 5-Door gets the same boxy body as the 3-Door version. It features a beefy bumper, a pair of circular headlamps, a slatted grille, and fog lamps. On the GLX, it gets LED headlamps with dedicated washers. 

Over to the side, this off-road-ready SUV gets beefy fender flares and a black-colored side skirt. It likewise features a set of 15-inch alloy wheels. The higher-spec trims also have power-folding side mirrors. As per its name, it likewise features dedicated doors for its rear passenger cabin. 

The rear of the Jimny 5-Door meanwhile, is equipped with a rear window de-mister, and a pair of LED taillights.

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Interior

Inside the JImy 5-Door is a straightforward cabin that’s mostly made out of durable plastic. Its seats meanwhile are clad in fabric. 

For the GLX and GLX Two-Tone, occupants are kept cool by an automatic climate control system. Standard on all trims meanwhile are power windows, a pollen filter, remote-control door locks, cabin lights, front and rear cup holders, and a total of three 12-volt accessory outlets.

The 2024 Jimny 5-Door’s GLX trims are kitted out with a nine-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The said screen is linked to a four-piece speaker system. 

Handling safety for the Jimny 5-Door are dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, anti-lock braking, hill-hold control, hill-descent control, reverse parking sensors, a reverse camera, and an engine immobilizer, among others. Added to the GLX variants are a shift lock, front-side airbags, and curtain airbags. 

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Chassis

The Jimny 5-Door is built on a ladder frame chassis. It uses a 3-link rigid axle with coil springs for both front and rear. Braking for this model meanwhile, is handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. 

Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Engine

The 2024 Jimny 5-Door uses a 1.5-liter K15B inline-4 gasoline engine. At the most, it can generate up to 101 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque. The GL trim uses a five-speed manual, while the GLX trims get a four-speed automatic transmission. 

All Jimny 5-Door trims come standard with a part-time 4x4 drivetrain. This is controlled via a lever-type shifter knob and it offers a 4x2 mode, a 4x4 high mode, and a 4x4 low-range mode.
