As a way of thanking vaccinated Filipinos for helping to keep the country a safer place, Shell decided to roll out discounts and exclusive deals that will be running until September 12, 2021. Interested individuals only need to present their vaccination card and valid ID to join the promo.
Here is the list of special deals offered for vaccinated motorists:
- Php 3.00/liter off Shell V-Power Gasoline or Racing, or Shell FuelSave Gasoline
- Php 2.00/liter off Shell V-Power Diesel or Shell FuelSave Diesel
- 10-percent discount on Shell Select Deli2go 12oz drinks: Café Americano, Café Latte, or Hot Chocolate
- Free one liter, valued at Php 50, of any Shell V-Power Fuel with every purchase of:
- 800 ml or one liter of Shell Advance Motorcycle Oil
- Four liters or six liters of Shell Advance Motorcycle Oil
- Shell Helix HX7 oil change package or higher
Take note, the fuel discounts apply to customer purchases of up to Php 5,000. It is available in over 700 Shell stations nationwide.
Exclusive offer to Shell GO+ members are limited edition Linya Linya shirts priced at Php 600 only. To take advantage of the deal, members simply have to open their Shell GO+ app and choose a shirt design. After confirming the order, Shell will deliver the shirt to the address provided.
Shell salutes vaccinated motorists
Another company that promotes the use of COVID-19 vaccines is Grab Philippines. The transport company is offering fare discounts of 15 percent for those who are going to and from vaccination sites. It will also share its relevant data with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to help battle the pandemic.
As of this writing, there are over 30.7-million vaccine doses already distributed in the country. Fully vaccinated individuals now reach 13.2-million, which is roughly 12.2-percent of the Philippine population.
