This comes with all new Peugeot cars purchased starting January 2023.

The chances of getting help when something unexpected happens on the road is a major deciding factor for customers in choosing a car brand. Peugeot Philippines wants to reassure its clients that it has these contingencies covered with its free one-year emergency roadside assistance (ERA) program.

There will be a one-year free roadside assistance program for new Peugeot models bought starting this month

This was bared by the automaker during a thanksgiving luncheon it hosted for members of the automotive media Tuesday. The ERA service will be supported by Ibero Asistencia, a global provider of roadside assistance services working with some of the world’s biggest insurers, financial institutions, and car manufacturers.

Under the Peugeot Philippines ERA program, customers will be able to avail of various benefits in the event of vehicle breakdown or accidents on the road. These include vehicle recovery, towing, fuel deliver, flat tire replacement, locksmith service, and battery boosting, all offered free of charge for a period of one year. Every brand-new Peugeot vehicle purchased starting the first quarter of 2023 will be covered by ERA.

Peugeot Philippines Brand Head Maricar Parco says that efforts are underway to aggressively grow the automaker's network

The ERA program is just one of Peugeot Philippines’ planned high-level priorities for the local market, following its record 285-percent increase in overall retail sales for 2022. Peugeot parent company Stellantis has accredited Europepar Car Service as a  maintenance parts supplier, seen to benefit owners of out-of-warranty Peugeot cars.

Peugeot will also bring back its Easy-Own Program this month, offering customers with options on how to own a Peugeot model with a range of financing options and low interest rates. According to the automaker, the program will now bring more partner banks and better finance plans.

The automaker will also bring new variants to its existing model lineup

It also announced the addition of new variants to the current Peugeot lineup, currently made up of the 2008, 3008 and 5008 crossovers as well as the Traveller Premium van. These new trim levels are expected to arrive within the second quarter of the year. Peugeot adds that it will be introducing a new model by the fourth quarter, hinting that this will go head-on against established Asian and American nameplates.
