It’s a consolation for the long wait.

Recently, Toyota Motor Philippines has announced that it won’t be applying extra charges for reservations and purchases of the all-new 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser 300 (LC300).

For those unaware, Toyota Motor Philippines and Toyota global as a whole have been experiencing significant supply challenges. Specifically, the brand is having a hard time meeting the demand for this premium SUV and some other models. We even reported previously that the waitlist for the LC300 spans as long as four years

This has been going on since the model’s release, and it is mainly attributed to several factors. There’s the COVID-19 pandemic which affected the operations of Toyota factories in Japan, as well as the ongoing global chip shortage.

That said, there is a significant waiting time as well as a long queue for buyers to actually get their hands on their new Land Cruisers. As mentioned above though, the elimination of additional premiums for the LC300 might prove to be advantageous for those who are looking to get the said model in the near future.

In case you missed it, the new 2022 Toyota Land Cruiser was launched locally in June 2021. The Philippine-spec version has two versions, the Land Cruiser VX and the Land Cruiser ZX. Their prices are Php 5,210,000 and Php 5,672,000 respectively. The said prices are standard across all Toyota PH dealerships nationwide.

Under the hood, the all-new Land Cruiser for the Philippine market is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 that is good for 304 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Both come with a 4x4 drivetrain, and a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
