After its initial exclusive preview, the next-generation 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe was finally shown off to the public. Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) positioned the display at the C1 Park Bonifacio High Street Central in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) where it will be displayed until January 12, 2024. You can find the display near Central Square, across Salad Stop.

Unlike its exclusive preview, however, only the one with Terracotta Orange exterior paint and white interior was displayed. The vehicle was also shown off while positioned inside a protective glass box. Regardless, this is a big step for the all-new Santa Fe, and HMPH since this marks the first time the next-gen crossover SUV is shown to the general public in the Philippines.
For now, no mechanical details or features were shared by HMPH for the Philippine-spec 5th-gen Santa Fe. But if we reference the global versions, it uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged Theta III gasoline engine or a 1.6-liter turbo hybrid.

The larger 2.5-liter mill with forced induction can churn out up to 277 horsepower and 422 Nm of torque. The hybrid meanwhile, can produce up to 230 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. Available transmissions for the Santa Fe in other markets are an eight-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. It also gets Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel-drive system depending on the trim.
HMPH General Manager for Sales Victor Vela noted that the latest iteration of the Santa Fe looks nothing like the previous model.
“Visually, the differences from its predecessor are dramatic. But this iteration still maintains the practicality and performance which we have grown to love with the Santa Fe. We wish to keep some things a little private until its official launch. So, please just wait a little longer as to the final pricing and specs,” Vela said.
