Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH), the official distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the country, is starting the year right by expanding its business network in the country. This time, the Japanese carmaker will establish a new dealership in the growing market of Davao City.
The new Suzuki Auto Matina in Davao City is the sixth Suzuki dealership under its dealer partner, Autocentrale Group. The Suzuki dealerships under Autocentrale Group now include Suzuki Auto Matina, Suzuki Auto North Cebu, Suzuki Auto Mactan, Suzuki Auto SM City Cebu, Suzuki Auto Cagayan de Oro, and Suzuki Auto SM Consolacion.

Due to the ongoing strict health protocols, SPH decided to conduct the groundbreaking ceremony for the Suzuki Auto Matina online. The virtual groundbreaking ceremony was spearheaded by Cebu Autocentral Corp. President, Brian Chua, managing director, Ms. Deborah Chua, and Suzuki Philippines Vice President and General Manager for Automobile Division, Keiichi Suzuki.

The Suzuki Auto Matina is strategically situated in General Douglas Mc Arthur Highway, Talomo, Davao City, Davao del Sur. It will make use of a 3,000 sqm land that is enough to showcase seven Suzuki vehicles which could include the Vitara, Ertiga, S-Presso, and XL7, with eight work bays as well for servicing vehicles. Suzuki Philippines said that interested customers from Davao City will be able to visit the new Suzuki Auto Matina early next year.
