The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has been continuously rolling out programs that help ensure the safety and convenience of motorists. Its latest initiatives is the road repair works in Quezon City.
DPWH is conducting repair works in Quezon City
In the MMDA’s latest traffic advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is undertaking rotomilling and asphalt overlaying activities in various roads in Quezon City. As such, motorists are advised to take alternate routes to minimize road delays.

Upon the completion of the project, motorists who use the said roads should experience not only a smoother riding experience but also safer drives.
As mentioned earlier, the MMDA is hands-on in making roads better for motorists. One of the government agency’s recent efforts is the inauguration of the exclusive motorcycle lane on Commonwealth Ave. The lane aims to ensure safety for both 2-wheel or 4-wheel motor vehicle users.

Over at DPWH, the agency is looking to make roads safer with the plan of relocating electric poles on widened roads. With a Php 50 million budget this year, the DPWH is ordering a close coordination with the National Electrification Administration (NEA) to complete the project.
