Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) unveiled the Strada GLS S-Limited in celebration of the pickup truck’s 100,000 sales milestone in the country.

To make the Strada GLS S-Limited extra special, MMPC is limiting the production to just 75 units. This marks a significant feat for the pickup truck since it was first launched in the country 32 years ago.
“We are very excited to achieve yet another milestone for Mitsubishi Motors in the Philippines. This one, like the S-limited, is a special one. This is a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our loyal customers,” said MMPC President and CEO Takeshi Hara.
Based on the Strada GLS, the limited edition showcases racing stripes in two-tone silver and red finish. Exterior bits including the front bumper, step board, and rear bumper get red accents, providing a sportier look. Also, a rear spoiler is mounted on the tailgate.
The cabin features a sporty appeal
The side profile comes with the unique “01” decal, which further elevates the racing appeal of the truck.
Moving into the interior, the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited is equipped with black leather seats with red stitching, 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, leather door trims, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather hand brake, and leather gear shift knob with red stitching.
Under the hood is a 2.4-liter 4N15 inline-4 MIVEC turbodiesel engine good for 179 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. Based on the shift knob seen in the press release photos, the truck appears to be connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Mitsubishi will produce 75 Strada GLS S-Limited only
You can be one of the 75 new owners of the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited for Php 1,496,000. It is available in White Diamond color only.
“Having been a brand that’s dedicated to listen and deliver to the needs of Filipinos, we are more than grateful for the support and for keeping Mitsubishi Motors part of their lives. Modern, tough, reliable, like this capable pickup, is what the brand stands for,” added Hara.
